Bring your family and friends to Walker Park in Crestwood for the 6th Annual Amber Woodworth Memorial Softball Tournament on May 3, 2025! The event includes a 14″ coed softball tournament, games, food, live music, raffles and more!

Each year, the teams ranging from family & friends to highly competitive, fill up quickly for this beloved memorial tournament. New this year, teams get a two-game guarantee, and there will be a consolation bracket with trophies for first place in each bracket. A $300 team fee is due by Monday, April 28, 2025 via Chase Quickpay or Zelle to woodworthwarriors@gmail.com. Team draw is scheduled on Wednesday, April 30th, at 7pm at a location TBD. Teams will be contacted via email regarding team draw updates. See additional rules & regulations below.

About the Tournament:

• Starting at 8 am, the 14 inch tournament is double elimination with a consolation bracket and will be held rain or shine. A cash prize & trophy will be awarded to the winning team in each bracket.
• Free lunch will be provided for each team, up to 12 total registered players. Additional food will be available for purchase from the Hog Wild Food Truck.
• Raffles and split-the-pot will be available for all guests, all proceeds go to the Woodworth family.
• This is a kid-friendly event with activities and live music for the whole family throughout the day!

Rules & Registration:

• Coed rules apply, teams must play 10 players (5 guys & 5 girls in the field). Males and females must alternate in infield and outfield including pitcher/catcher and batting order. Glove Rule: Females only may wear a mitt at any position per inning for the whole inning
• Registration fee is $300 per team, non-refundable due by Monday, April 28. Teams must also provide a gift certificate or gift basket with minimum value of $25 to be used for the raffle by the night of the draw.
• Tournament Rules will be emailed to team captains and available at the draw.
• Team Captains must complete and submit their team roster and waiver signed by all players before their 1st game.

About Amber

Amber was born on May 5, 1983, the third Puchalski daughter. Growing up with her sisters, Yvonne and Kim, and brother, Allen, Amber was an avid softball player. Building friendships on and off the field, Amber was a caring friend and loyal teammate.

High school sweethearts, Amber and her loving husband, Ronnie (Woody) Woodworth, spent 18 years growing in love together. They were blessed with four young sons, Nolan (12), Easton (10), and twins Jameson and Maddox (8). Jameson was diagnosed at birth with a rare chromosome disorder and Amber lovingly devoted her time to all of her boys.

On Feb 14th 2018, our amazing, caring, vibrant, fun and loving mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend, Amber Woodworth, was diagnosed with Thymic Carcinoma, a rare and aggressive cancer. After a courageous battle, Amber passed away on August 16th. Join us in celebrating her life and the happiness she brought to everyone she met.
